# Uninstalling `cargo wasix`

If you'd like to remove `cargo-wasix` from your system, you'll want to first
clear out the subcommand's caches and then remove the subcommand itself.

```
$ cargo wasix self clean
$ cargo uninstall cargo-wasix
```
