Building DivANS for the browser:

Make sure to add this to /etc/mime.types:

For divans, you must actually build with wasm32-unknown-unknown:

cargo build --target wasm32-unknown-unknown --release

Add a working brotli demo to the wasm page:

checkout the rust-brotli repository, then:
Add a emcc wrapper as follows

Create a script 'myscript' somewhere with the followiing

emcc -s ALLOW_MEMORY_GROWTH=1 "$@"
-------------
chmod +x myscript

Now modify ~/.cargo/config and set
--------------
target.wasm32-unknown-emscripten]
linker = "/home/user/bin/myscript"
--------------

Now build with

cargo build --target wasm32-unknown-emscripten --release
-------------------
And copy the binaries from target/wasm32-unknown-emscripten/release/brotli.wasm and brotli.js to the divans/wasm/ directory

Finally, in addition to adding wasm to /etc/mime.types, you must allow CORS  in your webserver config: search for setting the "Access-Control-Allow-Origin" header.
If you are not able to do this, you may modify brotli_wrapper.html and remove the line which sets "sandbox".
