### Tables There must be at least 3 dashes separating each header cell. The outer pipes (|) are optional, and you don't need to make the raw Markdown line up prettily. ```markdown | Heading 1 | Heading 2 | Heading 3 | |---|---|---| | col1 | col2 | col3 | | col1 | col2 | col3 | ``` ### Task list To create a task list start line with square brackets with an empty space. Ex: [ ] and add text for task. To check the task replace the space between the bracket with "x". ```markdown [x] Write the post [ ] Update the website [ ] Contact the user ``` ## Reference Link: [markdown guide](https://www.markdownguide.org/cheat-sheet) ## Extra Features on top of the original markdown syntax, mx supports a few extra features that make it more powerful and expressive. let's see them in action. ### Custom CSS and JS you can add custom css and js to the markdown file by adding them right in the markdown file. for example, you can add a custom css file like this: ```css [mx:css] /* custom.css */ body { background-color: #f0f0f0; } h1 { color: red; } ``` a usual mardown renderer will just display this as a code block, but mx will intelligently exclude the codeblock from output and instead include the css as a header level style. ### Custom HTML you can add custom html to the markdown file by adding them right in the markdown file. for example, you can add a custom html like this:
