Project
The goal of ez-sample is to streamline the process of creating samples from either desktop audio, or microphone recording, in a cross-platform way.
To facilitate this, the plan is to use a browser based GUI, with some basic editing and signal processing capabilities. Beyond this, I plan to make it very easy to save samples as .wav files and organize them in an idiomatic way for use in strudel.cc. For example, via direct upload to a GitHub based repo of samples. Alternatively, basic assistance with creating and managing a local file server for audio samples could provide a more private way of storing and accessing them.
