Get info about your Xiaomi Mijia 365 Scooter via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy). This is using btleplug which is an async Rust BLE library, supporting Windows 10, macOS, Linux, and iOS. I did test this only on my linux laptop and It should in theory work with other systems.
Each example shows you how to interact with your scooter. Before you can read any information, you need to get auth token.
This protocol is used in m365, mi-lite-1-s, mi-pro, mi-pro2 and mi-pro3.
Registering / pairing with devices unpairs the device from all other apps! If you want to use your device with other apps after pairing, either reinstall or remove / re-add the device inside the app.
This package includes the example to scan and list nearby M365 Scooters. Simply execute the package as such:
$ cargo run --example scanner
2022-03-01T20:24:52.433166Z DEBUG m365::scanner: Starting scanning for new devices
2022-03-01T20:24:52.445873Z DEBUG m365::scanner: Watching for events in background
2022-03-01T20:25:25.786072Z INFO scanner: Found scooter nearby: MIScooter7353 with mac: D5:01:45:37:ED:FD
To get auth token from scooter run example register and pass mac address of your scooter. Registration token will be persisted as file .mi-token
$ cargo run --example register D5:01:45:37:ED:FD
You can check how you can login and read serial number using this example
$ cargo run --example login D5:01:45:37:ED:FD
