This project has been in the making for several months now, but was developed off the record without Git…mainly because I suck at Git and I'm admittedly too OCD about having good commit histories. Over the course of months, I've gotten much better at developing Rust projects, including this one.

Instead of trying to rebuild my current version in Git, I thought it would be fun and interesting to try to recreate my journey from the original buggy prototype to the beautiful, (mostly) bug free version I made at the time of writing this, and then develop beyond from there.

🏷️ Name Origin

Pärlband ( ˈpɛrl'bænd )

Swedish for a “string of pearls”, which in turn is the translated name of Alnilam, the middle star in Orion's belt.
