This crate is a placeholder1 for subrandr, a subtitle rendering library written in Rust. Currently the library only exposes a C API, but a Rust API is planned in the future.
Note that if a Rust API for subrandr would be useful to you, please open an issue or comment in an existing issue if an appropriate one already exists so I know there is demand for it and I will work on it sooner.
1 According to crates.io policy (emphasis mine):
- exists only to reserve a name for a prolonged period of time (often called "name squatting") without having any genuine functionality, purpose, or significant development activity on the corresponding repository
reserving names is allowed when accompanied by "significant development activity". I believe this condition is currently fulfilled by subrandr.
