waitstat
Await output of another program dropping below a threshold. E.g. wait for iostat to show low activity.
Use -c flag if that program uses ',' as the decimal separator!
Examples
Wait for iostat to show less than 100 kB_read/s on nvme0n1p1 in the last 30s:
waitstat -t 100 -f 2 -- iostat -dy -p nvme0n1p1 30
Wait for zero activity in the last 60s on a zfs pool:
waitstat -t 1 -f 3,4,5,6 -- zpool iostat -yH pool1 60
